| Description: |
I tried a blue/silver shad jig into some fast moving water and pretty much instantly felt a sizable hit from this fish but didn't strike hard/well enough to hook it properly. It surfaced as it spat the lure, leaving me feeling... well, guess! I considered changing lure but decided to try again with the same jig and after a couple more casts it was back and I hit it as hard as I could, hooking it between teeth and lip.
At this time of year when there is one Gös there are probably a few more, so I quickly unhooked and weighed this specimen, then got the same lure back into the water... If anyone can identify the make/model of jig I would be interested to hear from you! It's 11cm long and quite heavy. | ||
